TheSonnyBono is a wacky, freaky weird, mesozoic-punk, peasant noise band from the suburbia of the deepest south-east Italy.Their genre is self named Vacca-Core [Cow-Core].
TheSonnyBono was born in an outskirts alley.
Their sound is influenced by trash music listened on local tv stations during the long boring provincial childhood, and maybe…by the toxic waste of the neighboring dump.
TheSonnyBono spend their days and nights drinking hard discount beers and eating shoddy weenies.
They are (really) unable to play. They lay down their songs live, using a microphone for chat.
In the U.S., their first album “‘Ndrame Luminose” (2012) is produced by Placenta Recording. TheSonnyBono are on Sirona record compilation [“Sincerity Is The Key”: cd 4 track 9 ] and Acidi Viola compilation [“Cannibali d’Estate: piccola raccolta di musica brutta per l’estate del 2012, che ormai è finita”: cd 3 track 4].
They’re looking for labels interested in co-productions and in spreading their freaky noise sound.
They have just recorded their second album: “Porci Comodi”.
